Donations
 Since 1982, the Center has been a vital
resource for adults and children in abusive situations. One family
at a time, we are committed to building healthier communities and
providing programs of excellence. Our services help victims shift
from hopelessness to hopefulness. To do this, we need your support.
While it costs $22,000 per week to keep our doors open, state and
federal funding provides less than 45% of the finances needed to
provide services. Your donation will help to ensure the continuation
of the programming and services we provide to individuals in our
communities.

Large or small, all gifts are important and will make a
difference in our ability to carry on our mission. Please know that
we truly are appreciative. There are many ways to contribute.
Consider a tribute, planned gifts, matching gifts, vehicle donation or giving through the
Annual "Safer Communities"
Campaign. We also offer creative
and fun ways to give.
In addition, throughout the year there are several opportunities
to give through fundraising events such as the
annual Walk Against Violence & Dorothy's Run 5K, and the Dare To
Dream Breakfast.
Tributes: Contributions can
be a thoughtful way to pay tribute to the important people in your
life. Make a donation in honor of a friend or loved one's wedding,
birthday, anniversary or new baby. You can also honor the memory of
a loved one; or make a donation as a get well wish for a speedy
recovery.
Planned Gifts: You can use
planned gifts to provide maximum benefits for you and your heirs
while supporting the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. These include
bequests, gifts of real estate or appreciated stock, and other
lifetime gift arrangements.
Matching Gifts: Corporations
may offer matching gifts as a method to support their employees'
good will while providing for charitable organizations. Contact your
personnel/human resources department to find out if your company
will match your donation.
Donate a Vehicle: Enjoy a tax
benefit and consider the advantage of donating your car, boat, RV,
even a j et ski to the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. Donation Line,
LLC administers a very specialized fundraising program where
individuals donate vehicles of all sorts to their 501-C non-profit
charity client of choice. Submit a Vehicle
Donation Form or call Donation Line toll free anytime at
877-227-7487. You will be contacted by the towing company within 2
business days.
Annual "Safer Communities"
Campaign: Appeal letters are sent out through the mail twice
yearly. If you would like to be included, please join our mailing list.
With
each search you launch on goodsearch.com, about 1 cent goes to the charity
or school of your choice. You simply select our organization from a
database of thousands or add your own, then tell all your friends,
tell your friends to tell their friends and so on.
Networkforgood.com is a website where you can give
to your favorite charities and have all your donation records stored
and accessible at any time. Their website is safe and secure, and
meets the BBB Wise Giving Alliance standards for charity
accountability. In fact, since inception more than 400,000 donors
have contributed more than $100 million dollars using the Network
for Good giving system!
Have some items that you want to sell? eBay Giving
Works is the dedicated program for charity listings on eBay,
enabling you to list items on eBay and donate part or all of the
final sale price to the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center.
